Greenall's Gin shows its horse racing colours

Quintessential Brands-owned G&J Distillers has launched a national on-pack promotion for its Greenall’s London Dry Gin with three eye-catching on-pack designs that celebrate its partnership with British horse racing and The Jockey Club.

This off-trade promotion offers consumers two free tickets to the races with every bottle of Greenall’s Gin purchased in store at UK major retailers.  This is the second year of the Greenall's ‘Good Times at the Races’ marketing campaign, launched in 2015.

The Greenall’s neck tags are available in store on each 70cl and 1 litre bottle of Greenall’s Gin in all major multiple retailers, including Tesco, from the start of the promotion on May 1 through to 2August 24, 2016.  The offer of free tickets is made possible by Greenall’s three year partnership with The Jockey Club, owners of 15 of the UK’s leading racecourses, where the brand is the official and exclusive gin.

Tickets are worth up to £80 and include key race meets such as the Investec Epsom Derby.  Entry to the competition is via a unique code entered on www.greenallsgoodtimes.co.uk

Greenall’s Gin and the Jockey Club are offering a total of 42,000 free tickets to the races as part of Greenall’s Good Times sponsorship campaign, facilitating the fun of a quintessentially British day out and appealing to a millennial audience.

Lizzy Johnson, global brand and marketing director at Quintessential Brands, says:  “We are excited about entering the second year of our sponsorship with the Jockey Club and look forward to enabling even more Greenall’s consumers to have a good time at the races. Just under half a million single serves of Greenall’s were sold at Jockey Club events last year, a testament to the effectiveness of the partnership between two stalwart British brands; both formed in the mid 1700s and both pioneers in their industries.”

Sicilian Lemon RTD launch

Greenall’s Gin has also announced the addition of Sicilian Lemon to its range of ready-to-drink 'cocktails in a can’.  With the success of Greenall's Gin’s other RTD variants: Gin & Tonic, Gin & Diet Tonic, Gin & Pink Grapefruit and Wild Berry Gin & Tonic, Greenall’s Gin master distiller Joanne Moore looked to introduce a new flavour, Greenall’s Sicilian Lemon, which is now available in Tesco.

Joanne says:  “We’ve blended Sicilian lemon juice with Greenall’s Gin and the resulting drink has a zingy burst of tangy lemon notes, with a refreshing and invigorating taste.”
