Dubliner 10YO Irish whiskey launched

The Dubliner Irish Whiskey has released a limited edition 10-year-old single malt whiskey, made from 100% malted barley, distilled in copper pot stills and 100% matured in oak casks that previously held Kentucky Bourbon.

Sinead O’ Frighil, Irish Whiskies marketing manager at Quintessential Brands, owners of The Dubliner, says:  “The Dubliner Irish Whiskey has had an incredible start launching at Dublin Airport last year and sales to date in Ireland, Australia and the US have been really encouraging. We are delighted to be introducing this limited edition expression to The Dubliner range.  It is well known that the growth of Irish whiskies is at an exciting stage and we have high hopes for our approachable and smooth 10 year old single malt in domestic and travel retail markets internationally – it’s a beautiful whiskey!”

The limited edition 10-year-old single malt is 42% abv  and has a RRP of £50 for 70cl.  Stockists:  Dublin Airport and specialist whisky retailers.

The Dubliner 10YO is marketed as capturing the essence of Dublin and paying homage to the history of distilling in Dublin dating back over 500 years. It is owned by First Ireland Spirits, independent spirits producers in Ireland for over 25 years and part of the Quintessential Brands Group.  Quintessential Brands Ireland acquired The Dublin Whiskey Company in April and distillation will begin in Dublin in 2017.
