Celebration golden bottle for Beluga vodka

Mariinsk Distillery in Siberia has launched Beluga Noble Celebration, a limited edition bottle for its super premium vodka to commemorate the distillery’s 115th anniversary.

The bottle is created using a sophisticated combination of modern technologies and traditional techniques to produce an exclusive product symbolising luxury, nobility and craftsmanship. Using a process known as thermal evaporation, a double platinum coating is applied to the bottle inside a vacuum chamber to create a uniform metalised layer, after which the bottle is coated with a layer of gold lacquer. Finally, screen printing is used to decorate the bottle, before the iconic Beluga sturgeon is applied by hand.

Situated in the heart of Siberia 300 km from the nearest town, the Mariinsk Distillery is based in one of the most tranquil areas of Russia and uses industry-leading, cutting-edge equipment. Made with malt spirit and the purest water from Siberian artesian wells, Beluga Noble Vodka combines sugar syrup, natural honey, oatmeal infusion, holy thistle and a touch of vanilla before undergoing a 30-day resting period.

Katerina Mechetina, Beluga Vodka brand director, says: "We wanted to create a unique product inspired by the amazing history and tradition of the Mariinsk distillery as it celebrates its 115th anniversary. Celebrating the anniversary of this legendary distillery, which passes on its traditions from generation to generation, was a great occasion for creating the Beluga Celebration. As this is a limited edition bottle, it is aimed first and foremost at Beluga connoisseurs and collectors and customers celebrating important achievements”.

Beluga Vodka is distributed in the UK by Cellar Trends (www.cellartrends.co.uk). Key stockists include Selfridges, Waitrose, Fortnum & Mason, Harrods and online at www.thedrinkscellar.com with an RRP of £49.99
