Kingsbarns starts Founders' Club payment plan

Kingsbarns Distillery in Fife will now enable the purchase of its Founders' Club membership via an instalment plan.

Priced at £500 (plus shipping charges), just 3000 memberships are available worldwide for the Kingsbarns Distillery Founders’ Club. New members receive a welcome pack that includes a 20cl bottle of Kingsbarns Distillery new make spirit, a Founders' Club Glencairn tasting glass and a membership badge. Membership can be purchased via a single payment or, as of August 2016, spread over 12 months for an additional £20 administration charge.

Exclusive members' events are being planned, such as a Founders' Club dinner, and free daytime tours will be available on 3 September. Members will also have the privilege of being the first to taste the distillery’s 18 month old spirit, drawn from the very first cask. 

William Wemyss, one of the Wemyss family owners and managing director at Kingsbarns Distillery explained further: "The first ever bottles of Kingsbarns single malt will be bottled exclusively for members of our Founders' Club.  It is expected that some of the first casks ever filled will be selected for this first bottling around mid-2018. Following that, each year for four subsequent years, members will receive a further Founders’ Club bottle."
