L’Instant Sud wines capture a way of life

Les Vignobles Foncalieu, the oldest cooperative in Languedoc, has created a new range of wines, L’Instant Sud, for the UK market. Featuring a white, a rosé and a red, the range has been designed to encapsulate the way of life in Southern France and the Languedoc Roussillon terroir.

The includes: L’Instant Sud Chardonnay Viognier – 60% Chardonnay, 40% Viognier, L’Instant Sud Pinot Syrah Rosé – 70% Pinot Noir, 30% Syrah; and L’Instant Sud Syrah Cabernet Sauvignon– 50% Syrah, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Comments Marie-Annick Consola, UK/Ireland sales manager for Les Vignobles Foncalieu: “We have developed this range to appeal to consumers looking for easy-drinking, good quality wines that are reasonably priced. Each bottle features a colourful label with illustrations that depict the sunshine and spirit of the South of France.

“These wines are aimed predominantly at the off-trade, including the independent sector, and to accompany the launch, we are offering retailers a L’Instant Sud kit. Along with POS, this includes the mechanics to run an instant win draw for customers with scratch cards and prizes including tote bags and sun hats. We will also be encouraging consumers to post their #INSTANTSUD images on our Facebook page for a chance to win a trip to the Languedoc.”
