Trossachs Distillery releases Signature Gin

McQueen Gin, part of the Trossachs Distillery has announced that on November 4, 2016 it will release a new product, McQueen Signature Gin.

Dale McQueen, owner and director of Trossachs Distillery says: “The market for unique craft gin with signature botanicals is rapidly growing. We want to build on our success since our launch in June 2016, when we launched a world’s first with our four initial gins and their very unique flavours. We will continue to break new ground and deliver something very special to our customers. McQueen Gin will continue to develop new and exciting products, which will break some of the traditions of Gin making. With our new head distiller Danny Gowrie, we see no limit to what can be created and delivered to gin fans across the world.”

The signature gin will be launched using dark blue 50cl ceramic bottles, a new label colour and name will be its differentiator from the others in the collection. The gin will also become available in a 10cl bottle in a four-pack gift selection.

The ceramic bottles are produced by Staffordshire based Wade Ceramics  and the design by Dale McQueen in collaboration with agency Pocket Rocket. The bottle is embossed with the brand motif 'little Maggie' and the words 'true craft gin.' Due to the production process, each bottle is slightly unique, differing fractionally in colour, size or thickness.

Trossachs Distillery Ltd is the operations company for McQueen Gin based in Callander, Scotland. Founded July 2015, McQueen Gin launched on the 3rd of June 2016 with four signature botanical gins – Sweet Citrus, Smokey Chilli, Chocolate Mint and Mocha. McQueen Gin has been referenced as the Heston Blumenthal of the gin market, with leading experts such as David T. Smith of Summer Cups, endorsing this leading edge gin innovation. McQueen Gin can be purchased online at www.mcqueengin.co.uk/shop or through one of our 60 stockists and distributors.
