To celebrate the brand's 150th anniversary and six generations of rum-making, Spirit Cartel's has announced the UK release of two aged expressions of Don Q rum: La Reserva de la Familia Serrallés and the 2005 Signature Release Single Barrel.
Signature Release Single Barrel 2005, ABV 40% rum is the first single-barrel expression released by Don Q and part of a limited-edition series, with only 6,000 bottles produced. The vintage rum which was laid to age in American white oak barrels in 2005 for 10 years and bottled in 2015. Every bespoke bottle is designed to showcase the amber colours of the rare liquid and includes an engraved signature from the master distiller.
Reserva de la Familia Serrallés ABV 40%, Don Q’s launched last year and is now available in the UK. Selected by sixth-generation distiller, Roberto Serrallés, it is a blend of 20-year-old rums from its oldest barrels. In keeping with the company’s birthdate, only 1,865 bottles have been produced and are available at an RRP price tag of £1,865.
Presented in a box, this limited-edition bottle is aimed at collectors.

Another new addition to the Don Q portfolio in the UK includes Don Q 151°, a blend of heavy and light rums aged up to three years, with an ABV 75.5%.
La Reserva de la Familia Serrallés has a RRP of £1,865 and The Signature Release Single Barrel has a RRP of £40. Both are available from The Whisky Exchange and Master of Malt.
