Cognac Larsen releases two limited-editions

To celebrate its 90th anniversary this year, Cognac Larsen has released two limited-editions; Larsen 90th Anniversary Tribute to Jens Reidar and new design for its Drakkar Carafe.

Larsen 90th Anniversary Tribute to Jens Reidar is a blend in the style created by the founder of the House Jens Larsen.

Based on fruit expression and purity, Larsen’s style was and still is unique in cognac. The House of Larsen carries on its founder’s spirit of adventure and still uses his blend.

Larsen 90th Anniversary Tribute to Jens Reidar was inspired by the first eaux-de-vie distilled by the young Jens Reidar Larsen and is packaged in a satin-finished midnight blue bottle; a modern interpretation of the house’s original bottle.

The blend was created by Robert Andrieux, master blender at Cognac Larsen since 1991.

The Larsen Drakkar carafe was created in 1952 in homage to the Nordic origins of its founder, and the Drakkar Viking ship has become the symbol of the House. The new, minimalist 'modern-Scandi' version of the carafe celebrates a history of 90 years but brings the design bang up-to-date.

Each carafe, contains Larsen’s Fine Champagne Cognac.

Larsen 90th Anniversary Tribute to Jens Reidar will retail for €65. The Drakkar Larsen Carafe will retail for €200

Both limited-editions are available at L’Explorateur du Goût: www.l’explorateurdugout.com
