Tanqueray becomes caged in a metal gift-pack

Revealing its Christmas offering, Diageo Reserve gin brand Tanqueray No. Ten has been given a caged bottle gift-pack.

The limited-edition gift-pack features a Tanqueray No. Ten bottle wrapped in a bespoke metal frame, forming an enclosure, reminiscent of a bird cage.

Developed to mirror and highlight the bottle’s award winning, Art Deco inspired design, the gift pack reflects the ten facets of the bottle, which meet at the base to form the shape of a citrus squeezer.

The cage has been designed to be used as an ornamental fruit bowl once the bottle is removed.

Nick Temperley, head of Diageo Reserve GB comments: “As consumers continue to show willingness to pay more for something special, premium gifting presents a huge opportunity for the trade. The intricately designed Caged Bottle gift-pack has been created with the upmost care and craftsmanship, reflecting Tanqueray No. Ten’s very own super-premium credentials, making it the perfect gift for Christmas this year.”

The bespoke Christmas-edition caged bottle gift-pack will be available at Selfridges and The Whisky Exchange stores nationwide and will retail at RRP £45.
