Bath Ales announces two new stouts

Two new stouts have been released by UK brewery, Bath Ales.

Signature of the exclusive Sulis Collection is Imperial Stout Islay No.3 (2016), which has been matured for six months in 12 year old whisky casks from Islay.

The latest in a series of whisky-barrel aged beers, the Imperial Stout Islay No.3 has been hand-bottled. Like whisky, Bath Ales claim this stout will improve with age making it perfect for storing for special occasions.

Imperial Stout Islay No.3 is available in 330ml bottle, 10.9% ABV, at an RRP of £4.59.

From Bath Ales‘ craft brewery, Beerd, comes Alter Ego, an imperial stout brewed at 10.5% ABV with a blend of ingredients including chocolate, roasted barley, and oats. Alter Ego has matured for six months in oak brandy barrels.

The top of the bottle has been dipped in black wax giving it a premium appearance. It is available in a 330ml glass bottle,  with an RRP of £4.59

Each beer is available at the Bath Ales shop.
