Mahiki launches liqueur and bottled cocktails

Mahiki nightclub is celebrating its tenth anniversary with the launch of Mahiki Coconut Rum and later this year bottled cocktails. Its new releases will be distributed by Cellar Trends in the on and off trade.

Mahiki Coconut Rum liqueur 21% ABV is a blend of Jamaican and Polynesian rums with Western Samoan coconuts. The off-trade RRP for the 70cl bottle is £14. Three new Mahiki bottled cocktails in single serve 20cl bottles will also launch for the on and off-trade, with a RRP of £1.90. Treasure Chest, Pina Colada and Coconut Grenade are cocktails from Georgi Radev’s menu at Mahiki club.

The clear glass 70cl Mahiki Coconut Rum liqueur bottle has been designed by British street fashion designer Henry Holland. It features bright Polynesian tiki motifs, Hawaiian botanicals and flora.

Mahiki bar manager Georgi Radev says: “There is a very pleasant coconut flavour and you can really taste the rum base. It lends itself well as a base for cocktails and also stands out as a distinctive spirit on its own.”

Caroline Pihoue, brand manager for Mahiki Coconut Rum liqueur at Cellar Trends, adds: “Mahiki Coconut Rum liqueur will bring the Mahiki party style to bars and clubs around the UK. With such an established brand name, Mahiki Coconut Rum liqueur has all the makings of a high volume, iconic brand of the future.”
