The Pleasure Gardens Distilling Company, owned by HJ Neill, has released its debut premium gin, Marylebone Gin, and is launching exclusively in Selfridges.
The new release will retail at £55.00 for 70cl.
Located on the former site of Marylebone Pleasure Gardens, one of the three fashionable Pleasure Gardens of London, which existed in the 18 century, The Pleasure Gardens Distilling Company claims to be London’s most central spirits distillery, with a history dating back eight generations to 1762.
The Pleasure Gardens Distilling Company claims that Marylebone Gin uses the floral botanicals associated with those gardens. Distilled in batches in a tiny pot still, Marylebone is targeted at gin aficionados.
The overproof spirit, at 50.2%, consists of a blend of 13 botanicals including chamomile, grapefruit and lime flower.
