The Lakes Distillery releases The One Pedro X

The Lakes Distillery has added a limited edition expression to its The One portfolio, The One Pedro X.

The new release grows the The One portfolio which includes expressions such as The One Tawny Port and The One Oloroso.

The One is a blend of over 18 different whiskies from distilleries across the British Isles. The newest expression is a Pedro Ximenez Cask finish and only 5,252 bottles have been released.

Master blender and chief whisky maker, Dhavall Gandhi says: “The palate is smooth and creamy with notes of vanilla, sun-dried raisins and nutmeg. For me, it tastes of dried fruits with hints of fresh ginger and toffee with a gentle smoky finish.”
