That Boutique-y Gin Company has revealed its latest release, Moonshot Gin. The initial Batch 1, was released in April, however Batch 2 will land in late May and the release limited to just 2,200 bottles.
Every gram of botanicals used to make Moonshot Gin is sent into near-space (at altitudes of over 24km) with the help of SentIntoSpace and exposed to an air pressure of less than 1/100th of that at sea level.
That Boutique-y explains this by stating that after around 18km, where the pressure has dropped to just 1/16th of that at sea level, fluids in the human body will vaporise at body temperature. This is a phenomenon known as Armstong's limit.
Once the juniper, coriander, camomile flowers, lemon peel, cardamom, dried orange peel, cinnamon, cubeb pepper, liquorice root, angelica and moon rock return to Earth, they are vacuum distilled at room temperature. (For reference, the That Boutique-y vacuum achieves pressures of nearer 1/10th of that at sea level.)
That Boutique-y Gin Company’s range of gins is available from retailers including Amazon and Master of Malt.
