Brighton Gin celebrates Pride with new bottle

Brighton Gin has created just over 400 limited edition bottles with specially created rainbow labels and pink wax seals, to celebrate Brighton Pride.

A percentage of the sales from each bottle will be donated to The Rainbow Fund, the Brighton and Hove based grant-giving fund for local LGBT and HIV/AIDS organisations.

The Brighton Pride bottles of gin will go on sale at independent shops across the city from today, Tuesday 1 August. Available from independent shops in Brighton and Hove including Quaff in Hove and Fiveways, Hisbe on London Road which is on the Parade route, Ten Green Bottles on Jubilee Street or Twenty One Wines.

Founder, distiller and Out In Brighton presenter Kathy Caton says: “Brighton Gin was created for good time boys and girls everywhere. We wanted to celebrate the free-thinking, campaigning and hedonistic spirit of Brighton, values which have made the city the obvious setting for the UK’s biggest Pride festival. We’re so proud of that – and want to contribute to the essential work of the Rainbow Fund in supporting the city’s LGBTQ community and voluntary sector”.
