Healeys re-releases its Cornish Gold cider

Cornish cider producer Healeys has released a new premium cyder.

Cornish Gold was first produced in 1980 by the Healey family. It has re-launched the brand, still using the 30-year-old recipe and complimenting the Original 4.5 % blend with an Oak Matured 6.2% variant.

Joe Healey, commercial director for Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm, says: “We are really proud of our Cornish Gold cyder. A mix of experience, hard work and passion has helped us to produce a premium taste that is perfect to enjoy at home, with friends or relaxing outside on a sunny day.

“This is the latest Healeys product to go on sale throughout England, helping us to reach even more people and showcase what we do best to our growing customer base.”

The launch sees the 500ml Cornish Gold bottles join the supermarket shelves alongside Healeys' Rattler Cyder, Cornish Scrumpy and a range of spirits, wines and soft drinks.

These can also be sampled at Healeys Cyder Farm near Truro, Cornwall. All this produce is now being served up on the menu of the attraction’s newly opened restaurant, The Old Bottlery.

Cornish Gold is on sale at supermarkets across England and through distributors including St Austell Brewery and Bargain Booze off licence and convenience stores.

The Cornish Gold Original 500ml has a RRP of £2.39 and the Oak Matured 500ml has a RRP of £2.49
