Quintessential Brands appoints Roederer

Quintessential Brands has appointed Philippe Roederer as commercial director for North America.

Roederer has 28 years’ experience within sales and marketing, and a track record of helping start-ups to establish themselves in the market and grow into household names. Over the course of his ten years at Veuve Clicquot, Roederer helped the company to grow into a US$100 million business and under his tenure as CEO, he established Voss as a super-premium water brand in the US. Roederer enjoyed further success at Remy Cointreau USA and Freshbev before moving into consultancy in recent years.

At Quintessential Brands, Roederer will lead a major strategic planning exercise while overseeing the coordination and implementation of US and Canadian marketing and sales initiatives. Roederer’s appointment is in line with Quintessential Brands Group’s continued expansion of its international sales organisations. North America has been identified as a key market for the business, so the appointment of Roederer, with his extensive experience and track record of growing drinks companies, is a clear indication of the Group’s ambitions in the continent.

Warren Scott, CEO and co-founder of Quintessential Brands Group, comments: “We’re delighted to welcome Philippe to the Quintessential Brands team. His achievements in his career to-date are clear evidence of his talent and entrepreneurial approach, so we’re thrilled that he has decided to join us to help us fulfil our potential in North America. With our world-class brands and manufacturing capabilities, there is great opportunity for Quintessential Brands in North America. It’s a complex and competitive market but with Philippe on board, we’re confident that his wealth of experience and standing in the industry will help us to accelerate our growth in the market and ensure Quintessential Brands is seen as an increasingly important player in the drinks industry worldwide.”
