Ballantine's 21 YO Signature Oak released

Pernod Ricard has unveiled Ballantine’s 21 Years Old Signature Oak Collection.

The collection is exclusive to Asia Travel Retail until November 2018 and includes the Signature Editions Ballantine’s 21 Years Old European Oak and Ballantine’s 21 Years Old American Oak.

Offering both Signature Editions in the collection allows travellers to explore the influence of European and American Oak on original blend.

Mathieu Deslandes, Ballantine’s prestige marketing director, comments: “Building on the success of the Signature Oak Editions, this collection is a special collector’s set ideal for whisky connoisseurs looking to explore and indulge in the complete story of oak influence on the exceptional Ballantine’s 21 Years Old.”

Sandy Hyslop, Ballantine’s master blender, comments: “Each of the casks are personally nosed by me to ensure a balance between liquid and cask, something George Ballantine – a pioneer in the art of maturing whisky in quality casks – would have approved of. I have stayed true to his unique methods, his craftsmanship and the extraordinary level of dedication he demanded to maintain the smooth, delicately balanced style of the whisky he gave his name to.”

The collection is housed in distinctive packaging that marries together the original colouring and design of each Signature Oak Edition. Twenty one rings illustrative of an oak tree span across the two halves of the box to underline the age and quality of the whisky.
