Tarquin's announces brand refresh

Tarquin’s Cornish Gin celebrates its fifth birthday with the release of an exciting brand refresh, the culmination of two years of planning. The new custom bottle celebrates the distillery’s heritage on the wild Cornish coast, pairing beautiful sea glass with Tarquin’s iconic wax finish.

Featuring a remarkably detailed puffin – a technical feat in glass manufacturing and design – the bottle is finished with an ocean-wave textured base. Every bottle is still numbered and signed by hand, featuring Master Distiller Tarquin Leadbetter’s unique character tasting notes.

Designed by Buddy Creative, it provides a tactile and emotive nod to the Cornish provenance and small batch quality for which Tarquin’s Cornish Gin is renowned and fiercely proud.

Over the last five years Tarquin’s Cornish Gin has grown exponentially and recently won Best Gin at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2017. Tarquin’s Cornish Gin is now exported to over a dozen countries, has listings with FlyBe, EasyJet and sales are set to surpass 25,000 8.4 litre cases of gin in 2018.

Master Distiller and Founder Tarquin Leadbetter said, “Our new sea glass bottles look fantastic! We’ve come a long way since distilling the first batches on my cooker at home! We’ve had an incredible summer so far with the launch of our Rhubarb and Strawberry gins and look forward to the year ahead with our new bottle.”

The launch of the new brand identity also coincides with the appointment of Nik Fordham - former Master Distiller of Bombay Sapphire and Distillery Manager at Beefeater – as Head of Operations. Nik will help facilitate Tarquin’s Cornish Gin’s growth over the years ahead.
