Mount Gay launches XO The Peat Smoke Expression

Rémy Cointreau's has announced the launch of the first edition in Mount Gay Rum's Master Blender Collection.

The expression, XO The Peat Smoke Expression, has been aged in whisky casks from Islay.

To produce this unique batch of only 6,120 bottles, master blender Allen Smith has selected and combined column and pot still rums, matured for eight to 15 years in American oak barrels. The blend is then finished in peated whisky casks from the Isle of Islay, Scotland, for an additional six months.

This edition is bottled at cask strength, 57% ABV. The RRP is $250.
