Champagne de Saint-Gall has revealed a gift-case including four vintages (1996, 1998, 2002 and 2004) of its Orpale cuveé.

Contained within a clear oak case is four 75cl bottles, with a RRP of €595. Only a hundred units have been released.

The pride of Champagne de Saint-Gall, the Orpale cuveé is made exclusively from Chardonnay grown in four Côte des Blancs villages with Grand Crus classification; Mesnil-sur-Oger, Cramant, Avize and Oger. Each vintage matures in the Saint-Gall cellar for over a decade.

Cédric Jacopin, cellar master at Champagne de Saint-Gall says: From some of the most highly-acclaimed villages of the Champagne region, on an exceptional terroir, several artisan winemakers joined forces with a unique vision. This is how Champagne de Saint-Gall was born nearly 50 years ago from the shared desire of men and women passionate about offering the best of what the Champagne region has to give.

"A partnership of 15 Champagne winemaking cooperatives, Champagne de Saint-Gall draws its strength from the diversity of its 2,000 winemaker members at the head of a fantastic vineyard. They have all chosen to work together, driven by a strong sense of community engagement and the desire to aim for excellence.

"The different trades, talents and personalities of each person in the group provide Champagne de Saint-Gall with a wealth of diversity. The winegrowers, cellar master, oenologists, employees, etc. are all united by their expertise and connected by a shared passion.

"Composed exclusively of “Grand Cru” Chardonnay grapes from the finest Côte des Blancs terroirs, the Orpale cuveé is the ultimate expression of this expertise."
