International Beverage has added a new aged expression to its range of Speyburn single malt whiskies, with Speyburn 18 Years Old
To celebrate the addition, the first annual release of this expression will be dedicated to Speyburn’s distillery manager, Bobby Anderson, to coincide with 2018 being his 18th year at the distillery.
To honour his successes, the 18 Years Old Anniversary Edition will be dedicated to Bobby. Each carton will feature a commemorative medallion and bespoke neck tag.
Speyburn’s 18 Years Old has been matured for 18 years in American and Spanish oak casks.
Limited to only 1,500 cases (9,000 bottles) globally per annum, Speyburn 18 Years Old Anniversary Edition retails at £85 per bottle and is available to buy from from independent and specialist retailers.
Gillian Gibson, brand manager, International Beverage, says: "Bobby has done, and continues to do, incredible things for the distillery. Since his appointment, he’s played an instrumental role in the business’ growth and development, of Speyburn. Having crafted a variety of stunning expressions in this time, with many of these receiving numerous industry accolades, it’s only right we celebrate this landmark anniversary, toasting his hard work with an equally rewarding single malt.”
