Bombay Sapphire launches limited edition

Bacardi Ltd has announced the release of the limited edition Bombay Sapphire English Estate.

The first in a series of limited edition product innovations due from the brand in the coming years, Bombay Sapphire English Estate is produced by the master of botanicals and the master distiller at the brand home Laverstoke Mill in Hampshire, UK. The citrus flavour of Bombay Sapphire is infused with three new botanicals in the new limited edition London Dry Gin; pennyroyal mint, rosehip and toasted hazelnut.

Supported with a 360 global launch campaign, the limited edition will be available for 12 months only, and lands on shelf from April 2019.

Ivano Tonutti, Bombay Sapphire master of botanicals comments: “Each botanical in our gin is carefully balanced to create a smooth and complex taste and the new Bombay Sapphire English Estate is no different. Hand-selected from the English countryside and drawing creative inspiration from the Hampshire home of Bombay Sapphire, the additional botanicals produce a summer inspired vibrant gin. Bursting with bright citrus notes and invigorated with mint, Bombay Sapphire English Estate provides a subtle taste elevation for gin lovers to enjoy.”

A host of POS and in-bar collateral will be available to those who list the gin, inspired by the design on the limited edition bottle. Retailers can also display the bottle on-shelf with Bombay Sapphire English Estate hot spots and shelf edge labels.

Natasha Curtin, Global VP, Bombay Sapphire says: “We are dedicated to creativity, which is why we’re so proud to launch a new limited edition gin, inspired by our home and  distillery in Laverstoke and the first in a series of limited editions that you can expect to see from Bombay Sapphire. The addition of Pennyroyal mint, Rosehip and toasted Hazelnut create a perfect balance of citrus notes to produce a delicate gin to encourage experimentation in cocktail making. Bombay Sapphire English Estate is testament to our global mission to ‘Stir Creativity’, where we aim to inspire and enable creative self-expression, both behind the bar and beyond.”

Bombay Sapphire English Estate will be available across the on and off trade from April 2019.
