Hornitos Tequila, part of the Sauza Tequila Import Company, has unveiled a new look that celebrates its authenticity and history.
The new look will cover three expressions in the Hornitos portfolio: Plata, Añejo and Reposado. Plans are for the update to include the whisky barrel aged Hornitos Black Barrel Tequila and Cristalino in 2020.
Front and centre of the bottle is an agave-shaped leaf logo that acts as an immediate cue for the Hornitos liquid being 100 per cent agave tequila. To further emphasise this, the words "100% Agave" are embossed onto the front of the bottle. On the back is a signature of the brand's founder Don Francisco.
On the neck of the bottle is a new 'Tree of Wonder' stamp, that the producer claims is a testament to its commitment to agave, tequila and innovation. The stamp was inspired by the agave plant, which the producer notes was originally called "El Árbol de Las Marravillas".
As part of the new look, the colour palette is inspired by the landscape and streets of Mexico — in particular in Tequila where the brand was created in 1950.
Hornitos Plata, Reposado and Añejo are available in 75cl bottles with an RRP of $22.99.
