CASK Liquid Marketing has appointed drinks industry heavyweight Claire West as its new managing director.
Claire has worked in the drinks industry for 25 years and brings experience in sectors including on-trade operations, luxury sales and brand partnerships.
In her now role she will oversee the agency's development as well as the visibility of its UK portfolio, working to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth in existing brands.
She joins from Pernod Ricard where she held UK and international roles, most recently as head of prestige leading its luxury spirits and champagne portfolio.
Prior to joining Pernod Ricard, she was group operations director at The Breakfast Group with responsibility for nine bars, restaurants and clubs.
In March 2017 she was made a Keeper of the Quaich, which recognises those who have shown outstanding commitment to the Scotch whisky industry.
Claire said: "It is a really exciting time to be joining CASK and its passionate team. CASK has a wonderful portfolio of brands and an ambitious campaign for growth. I am very much looking forward to playing my part in this next chapter of its dynamic story."
Stuart Elkins, owner and director at CASK Liquid Marketing, added: "CASK will benefit immeasurably in terms of both its development and growth with someone of Claire's stature at the helm."
