Loudenne launches organic wine range Les Jardins

Winemaker Loudenne has kicked off 2020 with the release of a range of organic wines.

Featuring a Bordeaux red, a white and a rosé, the Loudenne Les Jardins range was produced with Bordeaux winemakers in a bid to start cultivating the vineyard organically.

The range is designed to evoke the golden era of the Château Loudenne and the lavish parties hosted in its house and gardens.

While Loudenne has already won plaudits for its environmentally friendly farming, the Medoc producer pushed things further in 2019 with its first organic vintage.

Chemical weedkillers and chemical fertilisers are no longer used in the vineyard and staff have received training on organic cultivation.

Artist Bertrand de Miollis was commissioned to design labels for the Les Jardins range, for which he took inspiration from the château's gardens.
