Camden Town Brewery's bid to help Australian wildfire victims

London's Camden Town Brewery has released a special brew to raise funds for those affected by the recent devastating wildfires in Australia.

The 4.6% lager Supporting Australia will be going on tap at pubs across London from 24 January, with 100 per cent of proceeds from keg sales being donated to the Australian Salvation Army.

The brewery will be matching all donations to raise additional funds for the charity, which is working with communities affected by the bushfires and providing food and drink to first responders and evacuees.

It is a cause close to the heart of Jasper Cuppaidge, Camden Town Brewery's founder, and other brewery staff who hail from the island nation.

Mr Cuppaidge said: "Australia will always be a special place for me, and when we saw the bushfire crisis we knew we had to do something to help support those affected."

For those unable to try the lager but who would still like to help, donations can be made on the Camden Town Brewery website to the Australian WWF, to help provide care for injured wildlife.
