Maker of Seven Crofts gin appoints new brand and sales manager

The Highland Liquor Company, producer of Seven Crofts gin, has announced the appointment of a new brand and sales development manager.

Louis Wright will help to drive awareness and sales of the company's premium dry gin, which launched at the end of 2019 and has been well received. It is already on the shelves at Harvey Nichols and at Michael Caine's Michelin-starred restaurant Lympstone Manor, among other on-trade venues.

Louis joins from Orkney Distilling where he worked as head of production, designing and distilling new gins as well as estblishing a gin bar, visitor centre and guest tour experience. In his role at the Highland Liquor Company, he will work with the on-trade to drive listings and be the brand's ambassador at industry events.

He said: "I instantly loved the product and feel of the Seven Crofts brand. It's an unapologetically classic gin presented in a stunning bottle. It's easy to promote a product when you are passionate about the brand and I look forward to introducing it to bartenders and leading tasting and sampling events across the UK."

Robert Hicks, co-founder of the Highland Liquor Company, said: "Louis has the ideal experience to be our sales and brand ambassador. He is passionate about growing the brand and given the success to date in the on-trade, we are keen to build on this and keep up with the demand we have seen since we launched last October."

Seven Crofts, a London Dry style gin, is named after the original seven private dwellings that made up the village of Ullapool, where the business is based.
