Cognac house A. de Fussigny has collaborated with one of France's most prestigious jewellers to create a unique ring - filled with vintage spirit.
The cognac maker partnered with Bordeaux-based company Arvin, which has designed an innovative system to encase small amounts of wine and spirits in a pearl. The stones are then mounted on to a signet ring by renowned gemsetter Carl Jolibert.
The 18-carat gold ring created for A. de Fussigny contains a tiny amount of 1970 Petit Champagne cognac - a limited-edition expression, aged for almost half a century in oak barrels, which is also being made available in a limited bottle run.
Only 251 bottles of 1970 Petit Champagne cognac will be made available, sold in laquered wooden presentation boxes - but there will be just 10 signet rings made with a liquid-laden pearl, which are available from A. de Fussigny by special request.
