The London Beer Factory is raising a glass to a striking new packaging design which it hopes will help it stand out from its UK craft beer competitors.
The southeast London brewer, which has been part of the city's craft beer scene since 2014, approached Saxon Packaging in late 2019 to create an eye-catching design for its mail order beer packaging.
Sim Cotton, the London Beer Factory's managing director, wanted a sustainable pack that could be used to ship 12 bottles of its beer to customers across the UK. The company worked with Wayne Bennett, internal sales coordinator at Saxon Packaging, on the design, which features a purple base and an electric marble later and uses EB Flute and interior inserts to ensure integrity during the mail order process.
Sim said: "As soon as we started speaking to Saxon and Wayne in particular, I knew that we were going to get what we wanted. The results speak for themselves. We're really pleased with the final product and we've had great feedback from our customers."
