UK winemaker Fox & Fox supporting The Drinks Trust with special gift pack

English wine producer Fox & Fox has announced a special product release in aid of two charitable organisations which are supporting people affected by the coronavirus outtbreak.

The East Sussex-based producer has launched Foxy Rescue Remedy, a three-bottle tasting pack of sparkling wines, with £10 from each pack sale being divided and donated to The Drinks Trust and Sussex Community Foundation.

Formerly known as The Benevolent, The Drinks Trust offers wellbeing support to drinks industry workers and has launched a new campaign to support sommeliers and bar, restaurant and club staff who are currently unable to work due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Meanwhile the Sussex Community Foundation is caring for vulnerable people and providing vital support for local food banks, which have suffered due to a spate of panic-buying by UK shoppers.

Fox & Fox founder Jonica Fox said: "In these difficult times a little of what you fancy does you good and with a charitable donation being made from the sale of every Foxy Rescue Remedy pack, our customers can take comfort in the knowledge that they will also be doing some good and supporting others at the same time."

The Foxy Rescue Remedy tasting pack contains three of Fox & Fox's acclaimed sparkling wines: Tradition 2014, an English take on the classic Blanc de Noirs style; Essence Pure Chardonnay Brut 2014; and Inpiration, blended from pinot gris and chardonnay. All its wines are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Ross Carter, The Drinks Trust CEO, siad: "I would like to thank everyone who is supporting us at this difficult time and Fox & Fox for this fantastic initiative."

The Foxy Rescue Remedy tasting pack is available to buy from Fox & Fox's online shop. It has implemented a safe delivery protocol with its courier for home deliveries.
