Cocktail brand Black Lines launches online shop early amid Covid-19 lockdown

A bottled cocktail producer has pushed forward the opening of its online shop and delivery service to keep serving thirsty fans during the Covid-19 crisis.

London-based Black Lines partnered with distilleries including Chase and East London Liquor Company on its prebatched cocktails, which are stocked in a number of on-trade venues and bottle shops.

It had planned to launch its online shop this spring, but with UK hospitality venues forced to close to help curb the spread of coronavirus, it accelerated the development of its digital platform in order to keep serving customers.

The Black Lines online shop is up and running and offering next-day nationwide delivery for bottles of its "signature serves" - Pear and White Tea Fizz, Elderflower Collins and the tequila-based Paloma.

10 per cent of all full-price orders will be donated to Heroes Plus, a charity supporting NHS staff as they treat patients with Covid-19.
