Glengoyne strays from whisky with new custom jigsaw puzzle

The limited edition, 500-piece puzzle is designed to be the perfect accompaniment to your favourite dram, and a great reason to switch off from technology for a while. It comes at a time when many of us are staying at home looking for new ways to occupy ourselves, and what better way than to return to a pastime that’s become somewhat neglected over the years?

The puzzle features artwork from celebrated Scottish artist John Lowrie Morrison OBE (Jolomo), and is entitled ‘Spring Blossoms at Glengoyne Distillery’. Not only does the jigsaw celebrate Glengyone in its own right, but it is also designed to highlight its reputation as Scotland’s slowest distilled malt, making it the perfect dram to enjoy with a puzzle.

The puzzle will also raise funds for The Drinks Trust and The Ben, two drinks charities which offer financial, emotional and practical support for those in the drinks industry; their services are in increasingly high demand as the trade has been hit by Covid-19. The jigsaw will be available through Glengoyne’s  online shop for £10 with any 70cl bottle of whisky purchased, with £1 from every purchase going to the charities.

Katy Muggeridge, Senior Brand Manager for Glengoyne, commented, “we hope this limited-edition jigsaw will provide fans of our whisky with some special at-home entertainment during a difficult time, as well as offering a special keepsake from one of the nation’s leading artists”.

Some lucky customers will also have the chance to win a pair of tickets to a Glengoyne Wee Tasting Tour once the distillery re-opens to visitors; there are 10 golden jigsaw pieces hidden inside selected puzzles.
