Código 1530 Tequila enters into new UK partnership with Boutique Bar Brands

Código 1530 has announced a new distribution partnership with Boutique Bar Brands (BBB) for its range of super premium tequilas.

The brand is known for its extremely selective private tequila, produced at its dedicated family distillery in Mexico and perfected over five generations. The Código 1530 tequila range currently includes Blanco, Rosa, Reposado, Añejo, and “Origen”, a six years old Extra Añejo.

However, this is not the brand’s first foray into the UK market; Código initially launched in the UK in 2018, and is currently available in a number of prestigious bars in London such as Annabel’s and Aqua Regents Street, as well as premium retail outlets such as Harvey Nichols and Hedonism Wines.

Código has also recently launched in a number of international markets across Europe and Asia, and the brand’s co-founder, Ron Snyder, noted that the UK is a key market in their international growth strategy.

Código’s director, Justin Tan, also commented that “Boutique Bar Brands demonstrated a clear knowledge and expertise on how to build premium brands in the UK market and their ethos on sustainability and working in partnership with brands really struck a chord with our team”.
