Mast-Jaegermeister UK is continuing its efforts to help the UK on-trade with the deployment of the Jägermeister Ice Cold Convoy, as part of the #savethenight initiative (which supports the bartenders and creatives who work in the nightlife community). Made up of three vehicles, the convoy is scheduled to appear at pub gardens, holiday parks and socially distanced events following the reopening of pubs, bars and restaurants.
Two of the three vehicles are already on the road, making their way along the southwest coast of the country delivering ice-cold shots of Jägermeister and Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee, as well as the brand’s signature cocktail, the Jägermeister Mule.
The Jägermeister Ice Cold Convoy will sport the brand’s green and orange colours and have a ‘rugged look and feel’. The Jägermeister Jeep is a Jeep Wrangler designed for smaller events such as pub gardens, markets and fresher’s fairs, and the Jägermeister Wagon, a mid-sized van, has a fully functional bar and space for a DJ to play live music.
At every stop and with each participating venue social distancing will be enforced and Jägermeister staff will be wearing appropriate PPE, with health and safety being a priority.
A consumer competition has also launched on Jägermeister’s social media channels giving the brand’s biggest fans the chance to win a socially distanced, backyard gathering featuring the Jägermeister Jeep. To enter, consumers have to be 21 years of age or older and have a vehicle accessible backyard. Winners will be able to invite up to four friends to enjoy free Jägermeister drinks (with a three-drink maximum per person).
Mast-Jaegermeister UK event manager, Claudia Jakubowski, says: “As the UK
on-trade continues to re-open, the Jägermeister Ice Cold Convoy is being provided to venues with accessibility to help drive revenue.
“As a company, we are focused on continuously seeking out ways we can support the trade. With these custom-fitted vehicles, we are bringing to market experiences, and perfect serves, that fit in with the lifestyles of our consumers.”
The third vehicle in the convoy, the Jägermeister Truck, is intended for event activation and will be available for large outdoor events once they are allowed to take place. It is a converted military truck that can transform into a party hub with a360-degree bar serving as the base for a stage housing a DJ booth.
