Top-selling wine brand Barefoot has added a juicy new red to its collection.
Barefoot Jammy Red is a blend of pinot noir, zinfandel and teroldego grapes, harvested from vineyards in California's Central Valley, and is described as "ripe and vibrant" with notes of raspberry, pomegranate and cherry.
It launched in wholesalers, independent retailers and supermarkets across the UK earlier in 2020, aiming to capitalise on the growth of red blends in the national market and bring new drinkers to the category.
Barefoot says Jammy Red is a "must-stock" for the summer barbecue season, pairing well with steak and burgers and good to enjoy chilled or in sangria.
The 10.5% ABV wine is available nationwide with a recommended price of £6.99 for a 750ml bottle.
