Ready-to-drink (RTD) brand Ginking has announced deals with two major new stockists in the UK.
The Netherlands producer - which blends sparkling wine and London dry gin to make its beverages - will see its Original and Original Rosé styles stocked at online supermarket Ocado while its Botanica Italia will be available at budget retailer Lidl.
John Worontschak, Ginking's founder and managing director, said: "We are thrilled to have secured two new retailers and to be able to further expand our customer base in the UK ahead of the festive period. We believe that Ginking will impress both Ocado and Lidl customer with its authentic and well-balanced taste profile."
Ginking is also hoping a ride a wave of increasing popularity for lower-alcohol beverages in the UK; its products have an ABV of 8.5%, around one-third lower than a traditional sparkling wine.
Last month the brand appointed a new sales manager, Steven Poley, who has extensive experience in the FMCG sector. Mr Poley added: "I feel confident that I will be able to take Ginking to new heights by securing additional distribution."
Ginking has already secured two lucrative distribution deals this year, with Netherlands cash-and-carry chain Sligro and Dairy Farm International's supermarket brand, Coldstorage, in Singapore.
