Award-winning 0.5% ABV lager Lucky Saint is launching on draught in on-trade venues nationwide.
The beer brand has announced a listing with City Pub Co as well as other key drinks suppliers around the UK. It follows the brand's launch on draught in more than 50 London venues in January and a listing with wine and spirits retailer Majestic in August.
During the Covid-19 lockdown in the UK, Lucky Saint became the biggest selling alcohol-free lager on Amazon, and the brand's total direct-to-consumer e-commerce sales shot up by 300 per cent over the lockdown period.
Luke Boase, founder of Lucky Saint, said: "Since our successful launch on draught in January, Lucky Saint and the no and low category have grown phenomenally. Since pubs reopened after lockdown, we wanted to make sure we were meeting the consumer demand both on and off-trade, so rolling out draught listings nationwide was the next step for us, especially with Sober October upon us."
Recent research from KAM Media shows that more than half (53 per cent) of UK consumers would find a pub serving alcohol-free beer on draught a more appealing place to visit, and a YouGov poll for the Portman Group in May found that 27 per cent of people who drank before the Covid-19 lockdown are now drinking less or not at all.
