The Whisky Exchange unveils exclusive Highland Park and Redbreast bottlings

The Whisky Exchange has announced the release of two exclusive spirits bottlings from Redbreast and Highland Park.

The Redbreast release is a limited-edition 1989 single pot still Irish whiskey, initially matured in ex-Bourbon barrels but recasked to a Duoro port cask in 1995. The release from Highland Park is a 2003 single malt, bottled after 16 years maturing in a single first fill sherry butt.

Of the releases, Billy Abbot, content and training manager at The Whisky Exchange, said: "They're an excellent pair of drams, showcasing what excellent casks can do."

Founded in 1999, The Whisky Exchange is the leading global retailer of whiskies and fine spirits. It has an award-winning online shop and three stores in central London at Covent Garden, Great Portland Street and London Bridge.

Led by founders and brothers Sukhinder and Rajbir Singh and buyer Dawn Davies MW, the retailer has collated a collection of drinks including 4,000 whiskies, 800 cognacs and armagnacs, 700 rums and 600 gins.
