Cognac brand Camus is launching an at-home cocktail kit to help cognac lovers make one of the spirit's most well-known cocktail mixes.
The Camus Sidecar kit contains almost all the elements necessary to build the cocktail in your own kitchen - drinkers will just need their own glass and ice.
Invented at Harry's New York Bar in Paris in 1919, the Sidecar remains one of the best-known and most popular cognac-based cocktails. Camus feels that a super-aromatic cognac such as its own spirits makes for the best Sidecar, marrying well with the cocktail's citrus elements.
The kit contains a 70cl bottle of Camus Very Special, a 35ml bottle of De Kuyper Triple Sec, a shrink-wrapped fresh lemon, a professional cocktail shaker and a recipe booklet.
Delivered in a 100-per-cent recycled cardboard box, the kit contains liquid for up to 14 Sidecars. It is available to purchase exclusively from the Camus webshop from 5 November at a price of €59 (£53.25).
