New London-based hard seltzer brand Twist launches

A new hard seltzer brand, Twist, has hit the UK market. Launched by Ceremony Beverage Company, it claims to be the first hard seltzer brand in the world packaging in aluminium bottles.

The light, vegan-friendly drinks are launching in three flavours: strawberry and rhubarb, green apple and lime, and passion fruit and pineapple. They are made in North London using a triple-distilled spirit, nano-filtered sparkling water and natural fruit flavouring, with no added sugar or additives. The seltzers are bottled at 5% ABV and contain around 60 calories per 330ml bottle.

Following an exclusive seven-day launch at Selfridges, which saw products sell out within 24 hours, Twist is now available to purchase from stockists including Master of Malt, Amazon and Hipflask, while on-trade venues can purchase directly from Ceremony Beverage Company.

It is one of a vast number of hard seltzer brands to hit the UK market this year, with others including Heineken's Pure Piraña, Island Bay, Sparkl and fellow London brands East London Liquor Co., Good One and Bodega Bay.
