The Last Drop Distillers has announced the introduction of its first Autumn Collection of rare aged spirits.
The gobal spirits curator has compiled an eye-catching selection for the Autumn Collection 2020: a 1980 Bourbon from Buffalo Trace, of which 240 bottles are available worldwide; a 1976 'Overproof' Jamaica Rum, with 183 bottles available; and a Vintage Grand Champagne Cognac from 1959, of which only 21 bottles are availble.
In its discerning search for spirits, The Last Drop has released just 18 products under its name in more than a decade, chosen from across the worlds of Scotch whisky, cognac, Bourbon. The collection marks its 19th, 20th and 21st releases - and includes its first rum.
Rebecca Jago, managing director of The Last Drop Distillers, said: "This is a unique and very special autumn for us: it is an opportunity to showcase a trilogy of supberb releases that demonstrate our unique cross-category approach. We are particularly excited to present our first ever rum; this is a spirit we have long hoped to find, but we have been disappointed until now.
"Each of these spirits is a small marvel of its kind, just waiting to be savoured by those seeking the truly remarkable. The pleasure of curation is in the sharing of the discovery, so we are delighted to be able to share these unique bottles from our collection."
As with all The Last Drop releases, each bottle comes packaged with a 50ml miniature and a pocket-sized tasting book with additional pages for personal tasting notes. The Autumn Collection 2020 will be available from fine spirits retailers and lastdropdistillers.com.
