The organisers of Whisky Live and Gin Live have unveiled two brand-new virtual events to bring an innovative and exciting tasting experience to spirits fans' homes.
Whisky Live At Home and Gin Live At Home will deliver tasting experiences through sample packs delivered to ticket holders' doors, alongside two online on-demand TV channels featuring exclusive interviews with distillers, company founders and brand ambassadors from every brand featured in both the whisky and gin tasting packs.
The Whisky Live At Home tasting packs include offerings from Bowmore, Bunnahabhain and The GlenDronach in Scotland, Teeling Distillery in Ireland and Michter's in the US, as well as a Glencairn copita tasting glass. The Gin Live At Home tasting packs include spirits from The Lakes, Mermaid Gin and Metropolitan, tonic from Artisan Drinks Co, and a Glencairn gin goblet. There will also be copies of Whisky Magazine, Gin Magazine and other publications produced by the company behind Whisky Live and Gin Live.
Whisky Live At Home ticket holders can opt for the Wee Dram or Full Dram Experience, with limited Masterclass and VIP options available. For the Gin Live At Home experience, there are masterclass options available on top of the standard tickets.
Alongside the tasting packs and accompanying showguides, two on-demand video channels - Whisky Live TV and Gin Live TV - are launching this week to bring exclusive interview content to ticket holders, hosted by the editors of Whisky Magazine and Gin Magazine and special expert guests.
"With Whisky Live At Home, we've taken the idea of an 'at home' drinks festival to the next level," said Whisky Live's head of content and marketing, Christopher Coates. "The team behind Whisky Live has been hosting whisky festivals worldwide for more than 20 years, but never before have we delivered the full experience direct to whisky lovers' homes. Our team have pulled together to deliver what we believe to be the biggest and best home whisky tasting experience available anywhere, at any price."
There are still limited numbers of tickets available to purchase via Eventbrite for Whisky Live At Home and Gin Live At Home until midnight on 15 December.
