London's Camden Town Brewery has announced the release of a wintry take on its Hells lager, Hells in Hibernation, the final beer in 2020's seasonal range.
Inspired by woodland escapes and frosty forest walks, the brewery claims Hells in Hibernation captures the best of the winter season. The hazy, unfiltered lager is brewed with Apollo and Chinook hops to give the beer its seasonal notes of pine, crisp citrus and a clean finish.
As with all of Camden's seasonal Hells beers in 2020, the artwork for the winter release was created by illustrator Gaurab Thakali and was inspired by the artist's love of music.
Hells in Hibernation follows this year's previous seasonal releases, Blooming Hells and Harvest Hells, as well as a special release to honour NHS workers in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.
It has an ABV of 4.6% and is available from the Camden Town Brewery webshop (packs of six) and from Wholefood stores (packs of four).
Earlier this year the brewery unveiled plans for a revamp of its north London home, which will see the addition of a 50-seat restaurant and extended tap room.
