Ryan Reynolds appears in tongue-in-cheek Aviation Gin ad

Ryan Reynolds has recorded a tongue-in-cheek advert with Aviation Gin for the festive season.

The actor, who co-owns the American gin brand, appeared in the 'family-friendly' and humorously titled 'Not A Gin Ad'.

It comes ahead of the release of new movie The Croods: A New Age, in which Reynolds voices newest adoptive croods family member Guy alongside returning stars Nicholas Cage, Catherine Keener and Emma Stone. 

One of the original brands of the American craft gin movement, Aviation Gin was sold to Diageo earlier this year in a deal reported to be worth more than $600 million.
