A new UK-based wine company is hoping to make waves in the ready-to-drink (RTD) market.
DEFY launched its first product this month: an organic, Italian white wine in a 250ml slimline can, which will be available nationwide in the UK.
The brand says it is trying to capture the minds of wine consumers who are open to trying a more modern drinking format, and who are conscious of the environmental impact of the products they consume.
Leslie Owensby, DEFY founder and owner, said: "There are a lot of people out there that crave quality, but have no time for or interest in the traditions of wine. At the same time, they are concerned about the planet and value design."
DEFY is selling directly to consumers through its website.
