The House of Camus has signed a deal with African drinks giant Distell to distribute its portfolio of products in France.
Cognac brand Camus will take on exclusive distribution of Distell's portfolio - which includes Bunnahabhain, Ledaig, Deanston, Tobermory, and Black Bottle Scotch whiskies - in the French market.
The two companies already have a well-established working relationship in China, where Shanghai-based subsidiary Camus Yuanliu distributes the Distell Group's brands.
The new deal between the companies will cover all distribution channels, including e-commerce, on-trade and off-trade.
In a statement about the new deal, Camus said: "With more than 155 years of entrepreneurship today led by fifth-generation family president, owner and unique shareholder, Cyril Camus, the House of Camnus celebrates a living tradition perpetuated since its foundation in 1863.
"It is this ethos - based on human values, the mastery of expert know-how and of time - that authentically reveals all the qualities of a unique terrior. In line with its quest for utmost refinement, Camus creates a synergy with the Distell Group brands, thus strengthening its presence on the French market."
