Ryan Reynolds' Aviation Gin to go on sale with Sainsbury's

Aviation Gin, the craft spirit brand owned by actor and producer Ryan Reynolds, is set to go on sale in Sainsbury's stores around the UK.

The gin, widely credited with propelling the growth of the craft gin category in the US, will be appearing on shelves in around 300 stores nationwide and online.

The deal comes after Aviation Gin entered a distribution partnership with premium spirits importer and marketer Proof Drinks in 2020, in a bid to increase its exposure in the UK market.

Commenting on the Sainsbury's launch, Reynolds said: "It's no secret that I have an authentic and passionate connection to Aviation Gin. I truly believe it is the best gin on the planet and I'm excited that it's going to be available to more people in the UK through Sainsbury's stores and online."

Michael Cary, buyer at Sainsbury's, added: "At Sainsbury's, we know that our customers are continuing to seek out premium gin. Ryan's Aviation Gin is just the tonic and we're really excited to be adding this smooth American variation to our range."

Aviation Gin (42% ABV) will be on sale with Sainsbury's with an RRP of £32 for a 70cl bottle.
