Campari UK takes over distribution of Trois Rivières agricole rhum

Campari UK is set to take over the distribution of super-premium agricole rum brand Trois Rivières.

The group will distribute all expressions from Trois Rivières that are currently available in the UK market, including Cuvée de l'Océan, Ambré and VSOP Réserve Spéciale, from 1 February.

Martinique-based Trois Rivières produces agricole rhums in accordance with the island's AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée), which specifies rules governing raw materials and production methods.

Produced mainly in the French West Indies, agricole rhum is distilled from pure fermented sugar cane juice and is renowned for its ability to demonstrate terroir.

Trois Rivières - named for the three rivers that border the estate where its plantation was originally established - will join the likes of Appleton Estate, Wild Turkey and Grand Marnier in the Campari Prestige portfolio. Campari UK hopes the addition of this acclaimed agricole rhum brand will enhance its rum offering.
