Maverick Drinks appoints five new sales team members

Craft spirits distributor Maverick Drinks has announced five new appointments to its sales team.

Nick White, Sarah Crosby, James Crinson and Wil Kershaw have all taken on the role of partner manager in various UK regions, while Adam Talbot has been taken on as a senior partner manager.

Adam Talbot joins the company from Quintessential Brands, where he held the position of off-trade commercial manager. In his new role he will be responsible for the national retail channel.

After looking after major e-commerce accounts at Sipsmith, Nick White will join Maverick as partner manager for the grocery channel. Sarah Crosby joins the company after 13 years at SHS Drinks and will be looking after the managed on-trade.

Former cocktail bar manager and East London Liquor Co. account manager James Crinson will be looking after the South East territory, and Wil Kershaw will cover the Midlands territory following six years with Majestic Wines in both retail and on-trade management.

Michael Vachon, co-founder of Maverick Drinks, said: "In a time when the hospitality industry is facing its toughest challenges in decades, we're so pleased to be able to say we're continuing to grow our team.

"The calibre of candidates has been extremely high and I'm confident that the new members of our team will deliver great things for our business and their partners in the trade.

"Many of our brands had a record sales year in 2020 because of the enormous growth in e-commerce business and we want to ensure that both our grocery and on-trade teams are well supported as things start to return to normal.

"Of course, we're not just growing the team, we're going to be working with some fantastic new brands too."
